PETMiner has been specifically designed to allow points on plots to be displayed as images, enabling users to relate the position of data on X-Y plots to the microstructure at a given data point.

Any image can be plotted as a point, for example

• SEM and optical micrographs
• Core photos CT-scans etc
• Other data plots available as image files e.g. xrd data etc

This functionality has proved useful in allowing users to identify underlying controls on the position of various parameters on cross plots.

The size of images can be easily changed within the software and individual images can be opened in other software packages (e.g. Picture viewer).
